Transient pod utilizes the power of all digital mediums to communicate the ideas, products and brand experiences of our clients through story driven design. A solid process is fundamental to the success of any project as it provides the framework for creating innovative user experiences. This allows team members to solve complicated design problems while explore experimental and collaborative methodologies within specific boundaries. This can take many forms borrowing from the fundamentals of user centered design, agile based project management, or layers of system / game design.

Here is how we approach the design process.

Dive .

Projects are kicked off with a collaborative meeting of the minds so we have a clear understanding of how a client envisions the project. With this understanding of the fundamental idea we dive deep into user research and strategic evaluation. We use this research to understand user motivations, market mind share, existing brand assets and key business drivers. We strive to fully understand how people feel, use and interact with a brand or service. This becomes the catalyst for an effective design process.

Design ..

This is when the magic starts to take form; whiteboards and paper pads are filled sketches and ideas. Brainstorms and imagination leads us to wire frames, storyboards, mood palettes, mockups, flash prototypes, and animatics. We experiment, refine and redefine ideas until they effectively meet the needs of both the business and consumer. Sometimes an improvement project leads to profiling existing users, conducting emotional response tests, facilitating conceptual brainstorms, or observing users to understand the context in which they explore an experience or interact with a product.

Concepts are transformed into many mediums; Our dynamic collective of creatives strive to build elegant intuitive user interfaces, vivid and compelling motion graphics pieces, and exquisitely coded websites. All work is created so clients can reuse and if necessary make future changes. We strive to deliver a solutions that are on time on budget and exceed our clients expectations.
